Press Release – Community Foundation of Middlesex County Grant Recipient
Pay4Ward is a 501(c)(3) non-profit providing support therapy to Afghanistan and Iraq combat veterans through shared sailing experiences. We are pleased to announce that we have received a grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County (CFMC).
Summer 2016 was our very first season on the water and we were able to take 25 veterans sailing. This year, we’re on target to at least double that number. CFMC’s generous grant will buy new sails, reducing downtime spent repairing the old set of sails. Always improving our program so we can serve more veterans, and serving more veterans is always our goal.
